If you are battling cancer, my heart goes out to you. To be told that you have cancer completely changes your life. Fear grabs you, holds you in its grasp and blocks out everything and everyone else. But, if you will look around you, you will find people who want to help you and who can help you. If you will permit me, I would like to be one of them.
If you will be, or already are, undergoing chemotherapy, you will probably lose most, if not all, of your hair. Along with hair loss comes a loss of confidence and poise because you know you just don't look as attractive as you once did. If that is where you are, I can help.
Years ago when a woman was wearing a wig, you could spot it a block away, but today wigs look so natural that you will be the only one who knows that you're wearing one.
I know that you are going through a very difficult time, and I promise you that I will be very patient with you and will support you in every way that I possibly can. I will work with you, and together we will find the color that best complements your skin tone and the length that enhances your facial features. When I finish with it, your wig will be styled perfectly for you, and you will look absolutely gorgeous!
There are two products that I keep in stock, especially for you. The first is an item known as Tender Cap. It is similar to a regular wig liner, but it is made of T-shirt material, which is just a bit thicker. Your scalp may become very tender to the touch, if it isn't already, and Tender Cap acts as a barrier between an ultra-sensitive scalp and your wig.
The second product, It Stays, is an adhesive that will keep your wig held firmly in place while you're wearing it but will easily wash off at night. You apply the product by rolling it along your hairline, then you put your wig on and press it to your head where the adhesive has been applied. If you have little or no hair underneath the wig to help hold it in place, this product will do the trick.
If wearing a wig is not your thing, other headwear is available for you. I have a nice selection of brimmed hats, turbans and turban scarves.
Now that I've addressed one of the physical aspects of dealing with cancer, I would like to speak to the spiritual.
There are many things that cancer can do - it can take you by surprise, it can shake you up, and it can completely upend your world as you know it, but there are some very important things it cannot do. Cancer cannot cripple love. It cannot shatter hope. It cannot corrode faith. Cancer can neither kill friendships nor suppress memories. It cannot invade the soul or steal eternal life, and cancer cannot conquer the spirit.
I have had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ for the past twenty years. Knowing Him and holding fast to the truths of His Word, The Holy Bible, has helped me through the difficult times in my life. Many verses have comforted my heart and mind and have encouraged me as I have walked the rough spots on my path of life. It is because I care about you and would like to be of help that I share with you a few of these verses, which are quoted from The New International Version and The Living Bible.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
But now the Lord, who created you, . . . says, "Don't be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name. You are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up, the flames will not consume you, for I am the Lord your God, your Savior, the Holy One of Israel. . . You are precious to me, and I love you. Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Isaiah 43:1-5
Trust the Lord completely. . . In everything you do, put God first, and He will direct you and crown your efforts with success. Proverbs 3:5 and 6
For God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son so that anyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
(Jesus is speaking.) Do not let your heart be troubled. Trust in God. Trust also in me. John 14:1
I lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip. He who watches over you will neither slumber nor sleep. Psalm 121:1-4
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

There are many verses in the Bible on the topic of healing, some refer specifically to women being healed. Here are a few of them, quoted from the New Internationl Version:
O Lord, my God, I called to you for help, and You healed me. Psalm 30:2
Jesus turned and saw her. "Take heart, daughter," He said. "Your faith has healed you." And the woman was healed from that moment. Matthew 9:22
I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord. Jeremiah 30:17
Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits, who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2 and 3

I want to thank you for taking the time to browse through my website. I hope I will soon have the pleasure of meeting you, talking with you and seeing how I might be of service to you. Meanwhile, these words, found in Numbers 6, express my prayer for you:
May the Lord bless and protect you. May the Lord's face radiate with joy because of you. May He be gracious to you, show you His favor, and give you His peace.
